Medical Biller/ Insurance Authorizations Clerk

We are looking for highly motivated individuals (experienced in the Medical Field) to fill a FULL TIME position (Monday – Friday) 40 hours a week in the Colorado Springs area.  

All candidate MUST:

• ·         Have 2 yrs Medical experience (This is a MUST)
• ·         Proficient computer skills (i.e. windows, outlook, excel)
• ·         Understand medical terminology  
• ·         Have thorough knowledge of insurance companies (i.e. call in for authorizations)
• ·         Be able to read clinical orders and retrieve diagnosis codes
• ·         Be knowledgeable in CPT and ICD9 codes
• ·         Be highly organized
• ·         Be a self starter and able to work independently
